Re: Lowest mounted Siren in US

I think it’s a foghorn? If you can see the image I attached they can get pretty big. I guess they have to be heard from miles away, but it’s surprising to me that they can be as large as entire buildings.BF7C8F19-AA63-4C0F-9B97-86FB48EDA841.jpeg That’s what I was thinking too and that’s why I was c...

Re: Northwest Siren Map

I got some in the willamette valley. Model 5 on the fire station in Yoder, Oregon Rare Weltex siren on pole outside fire station in Rickreall, Oregon And Model 2s in the parking lots of Perrydale and Amity fire stations. The model 2s look deceptively like light poles. Also the Carlton M-10 has been ...

Re: 3T22 Sandy, Oregon

The Sandy 3T22 has been removed :( , when I go through the street view timeline it just disappears between April and may of 2018 when they renovated the station. I have also gone past the station multiple times and even stopped at it and searched, nothing. Sad, I think it was one of the only active ...

Re: Weltex Sirens?

I might have found one: https://goo.gl/maps/Wk1nYj7na2FFBrLc6 I posted it in mystery sirens, and I was told it’s either a Weltex, or an E.D. Bullard. I’m going with a Weltex missing its top hat thing, as it doesn’t have the conical chopper that vertical Bullards do. It’s only a 40 minute drive from ...

Re: Stevenson, Washington's Thunderbolt

So that map that I use, https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer?mid=1Uf4N71ayhGxcdLebBSQRf_QKbG4&hl=en&ll=45.51912954697496%2C-121.59126324933177&z=15 , claims the 1003 has been REMOVED! If someone could confirm(or preferably debunk) this, that would be amazing as I am going on a trip t...

“Rare vertical HOR” in bingen?

My first post, just activated my account. So I live in Oregon, and the map I use( https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/viewer?mid=1S7cXpv02lAd4okrYqzDKna7Ekvo&ll=0%2C0&z=2 , a really great map) says there is a siren in Bingen(near white salmon along the Colombia), and the siren is a rare vertic...
