Here's a Modulator on a short metal tower. Unfortunately the wires are cut and the siren is abandoned in place.

Re: Sentry F2 vs Federal Model A?

The Model L is probably your best bet, it's a lot louder than the A with the same power requirements. I've got one myself. Unfortunately, your options for brand new small sirens are pretty limited other than the F-2, A, and L, since few companies still make small industrial sirens.

Re: How to get "Attack Mode"?

You'd need a separate timer or controller in between the siren and the switch. You can either create one yourself, or find one second hand. The timer is what is responsible for the siren turning on and off, making the Attack signal.

Re: Sentry F2 vs Federal Model A?

I'd recommend against the F-2, they're pretty crappy and shoddily made. A Federal Model A or L is your best bet, they're the loudest and highest quality for the price.

Re: Callisburg , TX Mystery siren

Well, it's definitely not a "Model 20". It's a Fedelcode C3 1/2 that has a modified housing. It appears to have fallen and been damaged, so a new upper skirt was made.

Re: Low mounted Sirens in US

Never seen a blue screamer. Also, why do people mount sirens THIS low? Are they saving money? Or plain lazy? Works for small towns. The siren doesn't need to be on a tall pole since it doesn't need to cover a long distance, and makes it louder in the local area since it's lower to the ground. Some ...

Re: Updates on the Cosgrave sirens?

Jerome hasn't changed as far as I'm aware. Still dead. As for Talia's Cosgrave, I haven't heard any news. They did come back and said they plan to work on it, but nothing else since. Both are still currently not in working order.

Re: Grifco - Australian Siren Company (Company Information Post)

It's been found that dual rotor Fedelcodes aren't Model 20s, just a head's up. They're the Type Mach. 3, 5, and 10.
I do agree though, it's like you took a Type Mach. 5 and added a bunch more skirts to it.

Re: Hot Springs SD Mystery Sirens

It's a Darley Weatherproof Champion, a later model with a Federal Signal core.
