It's a Sterling M-3. That mount is definitely Sterling.
M3 ? Isn't that just a single headed m5?
M-3 or M-45 is the name for those.
But there is also dual headed M45 !

Re: Possible rare CLM siren refurbished and installed in a small town

Here is a video of a user here who used to own one winding it up with a drill https://youtu.be/5lF6POzPbvY Actually it sounds a lot like a 10/12 siren since it's 20/24 ports, same port ratio so doesn't change a lot, someone already 3D printed one and it sounds awesome and exactly like a 3T22 https:...

Re: Saudi Arabian Mystery Sirens in 1991

I've seen on Wikipedia that they use whelens that are imported by HSS engineering, it's a Danish company, and they say on their website that they have more than 40 years of experience, so I assume maybe they installed Whelens back in the 90s.

Re: The 'permanent' CTI thread

This thread is getting way off topic. This is about CTIs not French sirens. As 10V2T was saying, I was talking about the fact that one of the company of the differents sirens in France is actually exporting sirens in the USA, and I was wondering if that mystery "CTI" siren was actually a ...

Re: The 'permanent' CTI thread

The French high tone sirens are 11 and 12 port and are typically smaller units that are marketed similar to how Federal and Sentry market their Model 2 and 3V8. The smaller ones from KM Europ and Pakita are 12 port. There are others that have been caught indirectly on camera peaking at roughly 515 ...

Re: The 'permanent' CTI thread

I don't think this is ever a French piece, if determined by the number of ports. This one is 10-Port, while other (Probably most) French mechanical sirens has 8. (But I also wonder, could there be a 10-Port French siren?) I would also agree with the statement that says that an American county / tow...
