In a broad technicality, the 10V2T is literally an M-10 on its side with horns. But no. The 10V2T was itself not made in WWII. A lot of news articles overstate age. I hate to say it but these photos aren't evidence of anything at all. The bits of yellow are unshapely blobs that could easily not even be sirens. I mean, that's been stated already. But then why are these photos even still being used? Is there any other evidence available? Because this ain't it.

The thunderbolts in Australia thing is completely false I can comfortably say. I have a photo of the supposed siren, and to me it looks nothing like one but instead appears to be little more than a light on a crooked pole.
