The newer thunderbolts blow around in the wind all the time. They have a clutch that engages or disengages (I think that's how it works) if wind is blowing on it so it doesn't ruin the mechanism.
How many amps can the generator run? From what I can remember, it withstands about 500 amps at the very maximum. Theoretically, you can run a Cyclone or even a P-50 off of it. Could run all my stuff then, not sure if I am able to make it though. You better... If I come I wanna see that H.O.R. :D

As long as they aren't a private department... volunteer fire departments are usually more friendly because, well, they're maintained through a community effort. They're made up of the community, and their duty is to serve the community. Privately funded departments won't always be as nice... I was ...
To add onto this, there are 2001s (I think somewhere in Illinois, but the name of the town isn't coming to me :x ) running Whelen controls. I could see how EOWS could run on Whelen controls because they are electronic, but 2001s? Maybe they ripped out the chopper and replaced it with a speaker LOL ...
