For the number of sirens with Fedelcode housings, I would not think more than a small percentage actually have coding mechanisms installed on them. I have owned a Fedelcode Model 5 and have seen inside numerous ones and have only seen one coded one ever. That siren was destroyed in Hurricane Charley...

Interesting Allertor Color

I've never seen an Allertor colored like this before, but it's definitely a cool look! The yellow and black both look to be in really good shape.

Fedelcode Siren

I found this siren today. It looks to be around the diameter of a Model 2, but has completely different insides, at least on the bottom. The bottom looks a lot like it could have the same model 2 design, but with more ports. http://www.civildefensesirens.com/images/DSCN7100%20Small.jpg This is the o...

Not on 2800s, that would be the biggest pain of virtually any driver replacement.

Those look like some pretty solid statistics there on colors. Whelen actually sells about 30% green, 30% white, 30% black, and 10% other colors. The white is for the rotating WPS series, the black for the omnidirectional WPS series. The green usually is on the omni-WPS, but I've seen a few green rot...

Yep, that would definitely be the exhaust pipe I was talking about. So that makes LA, Detroit, and Miami that had/have T-Bolt 2000s/7000s. Awesome find there!

The Thunderbolt 2000s that I have seen before had an exhaust pipe coming out of the blower box itself.

Penetrator-RM Differences

To keep bringing up the issue of differences in siren models, are any of you familiar with these? I don't have all that much ACA/ASC experience so I need some of you guys from WI to help out. Is there a difference between these two siren models? I am mainly paying attention to the intake cone. On th...

i-Force Siren Installation

My friend at FSU in Tallahassee, FL sent me these photos the other week of the campus's new siren system. Currently, two are up with plans for a third. They are going to start testing the system this May.
