I don't think they will utilize that feature. They have that capability now and they do not use it.

I was impressed with the first and 2nd activation. 1st one was 50 miles out 2nd one was 30 miles out. The 3rd one was activated as the storm hit the Dearborn/Hamilton County line.

I have one just up the street from me. This one is solid concrete with the steel deck on top. It was decommissioned in 95, but was retrofitted into a cell tower about 2 months ago. The phone company was finalizing the hookup last week. The parabolic antennae are still intact.

Heard them both times. The White Oak 1000T failed to activate, but I heard the Mt Airy 1000, Thompson Rd. 1000T and The Diamond Oaks T-128

At the rate Hamilton county is going complete replacement will probably be the end of 2012 to early 2013. The replacements were supposed to be finished by the end of last year.
