Vortex sirens also have the options of R1, R2, R3, and R4, which I believe distinguishes the amount of drivers. As far as I know, the 4004 only comes in the 4 driver configuration.

The 4004 also can be the 4003.

The 4004 also has a control box with two doors while the R4 has one.
