Re: Mystery San Diego CD?

Also, it does not look similar to a Scream Master, due to it’s flat-topped louvers and it’s shroud looking similar to a GCS Model 3 in a whole. It is most likely a Scream Master, the angle the photo was taken at makes it looks flat. The shroud design matches exactly with a Scream Master. The GCS ha...

Re: Mystery San Diego CD?

Hmm. Looks like an Erick Fire Siren. The shroud and the Mount looks almost identical to it. Otherwise, it could be a Siro-drone, due to the look of one louver being bigger than the other. Or even a Modified model 3, or 2, but this cannot be sure due to it not looking like it has been cut off comple...

Re: Mystery San Diego CD?

Bump, can you show all the locations they once stood? I know at some point they had rotational 125 DB sirens, which sounds like thunderbolt to me personally. Sadly, there is barely anything known. I have done some searching, but only found 1 photo of a siren in Chula Vista. I have not seen an artic...

New system coming to Beverly Hills, California

Hey guys, thought I would drop a post here. Beverly Hills, California has a siren system coming into works, and it's looking good. This is interesting as a California city like Beverly is getting sirens, which has been pretty uncommon. Most cities in California are getting sirens because of wildfire...

Re: Ex-Seattle, WA Decot in Zillah, WA?

These are not Decots. They are Scream Masters. That was solved five years ago. https://www.airraidsirens.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=19871 sorry to derail but that's definitely not a scream master, as they look like this under the shroud. https://static.wixstatic.com/media/585ec9_29c5e508496147cfb28...

Re: Beaumont CA Sirens

The legs look model 2, rest of it looks like Soundmaster/ACA. Using the pole for scale it does seem to be the size of a model 2. The motor seems awfully small. Never heard of a siren actually exploding. Burning Yes, the T135 that overran its duty cycle by nearly an hour, but never actually explodin...

Re: Mt Baldy Pearse Co. Siren Test!

I got an email from the fire chief a couple of days back stating that they fixed the siren! He got an electrician down there and the issue was a spider web making the relay stuck, they got it cleaned up and it roared to life. So, I met up with Duderocks5539/Aaron on the 1st of July and they set it o...

Julius Pearse Fire Dept Supply Company, Denver County Colorado. This siren is old. Very old. But it's not a "Denver Siren" made by Dillon Box Iron Works, however, it may have been an attempt to compete.
Oh, then we might have our answer here.

I thought it was made by the Pearse Co. out of Denver. Is that the same thing?
Oh yeah, your right.
I thought it was Pearse Colorado, but like you said it is in fact Pearse Company.

Mt Baldy Pearse Company Siren Test

Sorry if I got your hopes up with the title, Me and Aaron/Duderocks5539 met up at the Mt Baldy Fire Department on June 3rd to see the Denver test, but due to it not being wired they tested the Model D instead. It was my first time hearing one of those smaller Federal Signal model sirens and was nice...
