Re: Oldest Thunderbolt sirens in existence

Is there such thing as a "oldest Thunderbolt 1000T"? I've been wondering about that one. In terms of the oldest known manufactured 1000T, that would be T-420, of which the blower of is in Upson County, Georgia. Said blower is currently mated to the head of T-507, while the head for it is ...

Re: Oldest Thunderbolt sirens in existence

At the moment, a unit with the serial of apparently T57 has been documented, although the tag itself is extremely illegible as it had been sandblasted. Many members of the community doubt that the tag actually reads T57. It being the oldest existing unit remains unconfirmed. If we are talking in ter...

Here is another, with the sound sped up, but it's the 3 cycle recording we've all heard on here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MhjjF6Zsb4 I wonder if this person is a forum member? I wouldn't believe that this person is a forum member, but if they are, I do hope they find this thread. Norcross i...

Re: Why is the Mineola Thunderbolt 1003 so special?

A few years ago, a bunch of recordings of this particular thunderbolt started to appear on YouTube. I believe then people started to gain significant interest in it, as it had a unique paint scheme, and ran Hi-Lo. It's also a Thunderbolt on Long Island, which is near New York City, so an active Thun...

Re: Does Anyone Know What Model This Siren Sound is Based Off of?

I have been wondering all this time if there are any sirens that are based off this infamous sound, I know people overused this sound effect in general. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=84UT_UtUhaE I do know that Prestigigators "Nuclear Alarm Siren" sound is based of an XT22 siren. I belie...

My Federal Signal Thunderbolt 1000B

Hey y’all! It’s been a long time since I really posted here, lol. In my time of being gone, I acquired a Thunderbolt! Been wanting to do this for years but never could find one for a good price. It’s a 1000B from April of 1981 (serial is A008446 D81, if you’re asking). Came from TVA’s Browns Ferry p...

Re: Fake video list

Stolen audio, obvious google street view screenshot, even edited in fake birds to make it seem “legit.” https://youtube.com/watch?v=6ehfRjVDZN8&feature=share I’ve seen way too many of these, if I find even more I’ll post them here if I remember. You can tell it is fake. There is no rotation on ...

Upon further evaluation from other enthusiasts, it is very likely that is Allertor is Ex-WAWAS, which makes it even more unique.
