Re: Post your Mystery Sirens here.

Here's your Alertronic. It looks like an AR/RE-1600. I was able to confirm its location using Google Earth's Historic View. The imagery from April 2008 has the sun casting its shadow on the nearby structures. It doesn't look like it's rotated in a while, so I'm thinking either its chain is broken o...

Re: Some of the mystery sirens of Pennsylvania have been solved!

Unfortunately PeachtreeSirens hasn't been updating that map since 2017. I wouldn't count on these sirens being fixed on it. Another Pennsylvania map that is currently being worked on can be found here . Also, why did you make a video? With the zooming effect, the town names aren't even visible in se...

Re: Community Siren Map

Great concept. If there's a way to copy and paste all 200-300-something locations from my WV/MD Siren Map then I will, but I don't have the time to add them all by hand myself. But as always, anyone else is welcome to copy off my map.

Re: Sirens with cool paint jobs

In Dargan, Maryland there's a Model 2 with an American Flag design. There's no street view (it's a remote village on a mountainside) but I could grab a picture sometime, I'm only 30 minutes away.

Re: Post your Mystery Sirens here.

In Kathryn, ND. I'm 50% positive it could be some sort of Decot from the outline. https://www.google.com/maps/@46.6804002,-97.9699464,3a,50.2y,180.6h,97.93t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sIAdTYg2vCBxYRnOC6mwwUg!2e0!7i3328!8i1664 It looks like an exhaust vent to me. I could be wrong, but I think this thread is...

There doesn't appear to be a siren here, can you provide more information?

(Yes, I went through that whole list just out of curiosity and boredom.)

Re: Post your Mystery Sirens here.

The Alertronic is also on the Piedmont side, so keep that in mind. IIRC I read that the Alertronic is only visible from the Piedmont side, not that it's physically located there. I could be wrong. Since this discussion is getting long, I would suggest creating a new thread just about the Luke Alert...

Re: Post your Mystery Sirens here.

I was browsing StreetView in Luke, Maryland, searching for their Alertronic 6000R. Something caught my eye and I came across this: https://www.google.com/maps/@39.47564,-79.0568339,3a,15.3y,139.43h,99.67t,0.01r/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sBhPtBmWmnX0IaNgDXDpRTw!2e0!7i13312!8i6656 I am wondering if this is ...

Re: Pennsylvania siren map

This is excellent so far! It looks like you may be working from West to East? There's some sirens missing from the northeastern corner of the state, I figure you'll get to that eventually. In the areas you've finished, there's a couple missing sirens: Mansfield - STH-10 mounted alongside Besanceney ...
