Re: BE AWARE OF YOUR RECORDINGS

Let's end this conversation. TL;DR - Edit the videos or take them down. End of discussion. Here are both sides to this coin, and hopefully this might help some of you guys out. As a solution: if the director of operations at these emergency management offices would turn on the transmit carrier squel...

Re: Soundmaster 125 Found in Cedervale, KS

I might just have to get out there myself and take a look at it. Being in Chautauqua county, it's going to be a bit of a drive, and my truck doesn't have a motor in it right now. Might have to go with Gabe or something and kick him some money for gas. I also have no idea when they would test it - if...

Sounds fairly healthy. I second this - where are you in Iowa?

Re: Creative,funny siren gear

Eric, that is probably the most creative thing I've seen, the S-10 is the perfect size! We need to get Ian to chime in - he has a history of using the projector cones off of the XT22 sirens as trash cans.

Re: My recording of the Sentry 10v in Georgetown, TX screaming across I-35

Now that's a cool timing protocol to use with a Sentry. I would like to hear one in something like 4/4 or 4/8. I love the sound that Sentry sirens produce - their unique tone likely having something to do with how tall the rotors are. Sweet video, Tom!

Definitely old news. This was in the Facebook group quite a time ago. However, I do smell a lawsuit coming on.

Re: Foamworthy siren ambience, Odessa, Mo

That one will always be my all time favourite. I felt a little sad when they wound down, lol Also, that is a STH-10B, not a Thunderbolt 1000. There is a 1000 that comes up off in the distance, after the STH-10 winds up. You have to listen a little close - headphones help. There's just a lot going o...

Holy SHOOT

I love this system. Reminds me a lot of Purdue, IN's old system of 3T22s, a 2001 and a Thunderbolt 1000. I always throw this one in wherever I can. ;)
