Lucas County Sirens activate, but no warning was issued

Today, a nasty storm rolled into Lucas County. I had no idea the sirens were going off, until my sister called me and told me they were. I went outside and they were going off. I called the EMA and they said that somebody reported "rotation" near the town of Waterville and Swanton. Somebod...

Bowling Green, OH Old Civil Defense System

Hello guys. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about Bowling Green's old Civil Defense system of Thunderbolt 1003s (locations and such). I already know of locations. One on Clough Street and one on the campus of Bowling Green State University. If anyone knew anything that would be great! Thanks!

Nothing really got "replaced". There is a Darley Model 2 at the FD somebody would have to come in to the FD and set it off manually. The 2001-130 is a county siren.

Re: Woodville, OH T-128 5-3-14

My final video from today, a T-128 in Woodville. Its located north of the High School in a fenced in area. It runs for 3 minutes in alert with the rest of the sirens in Sandusky County. There was a localized rain storm which soaked both my camera and I. The test was a few minutes late as well and f...

Re: New Siren in Western Ohio

Let the hunt begin... Lets see who can get the first pic up... You wanted pic's, you got 'em. Stopped by Holiday City on my way (the long way I might add) to East Lansing last weekend. It is indeed a brand new 20v2T. 8) http://i705.photobucket.com/albums/ww59/Toledo2t22/Random%20Sirens/th_DSC01238....

When is this tested? I might try to record it via the rail cam.

This T-128 was installed in 2011-2012. I dunno when. They now have 2 XT22s. They replaced the one downtown with a T-128.
