That is almost certainly a CLM. I plan on recording it today.

Re: Ontario Siren Hunt

Then I have absolutely no clue where those are coming from. It sure sounded like one, though. What could the two other sirens be then?

Re: Ontario Siren Hunt

Sorry to bump an old post, but I've found two new sirens: An active Model 2T located in Sarnia, at a chemical plant down the street from one of the Modulator 3012s at the railyards, and a Modulator 3012 located at a plant near Sombra, Ontario. I accidentally recorded the 2T while recording a Modulat...

Re: NEW SIRENS Near St. Clair Township, Ontario

This is great to hear! I'll have to head over to that area one of these days when I'm off work. I'll see if I can find any sirens for you. I hope they are not more ATI-HPSS32s like Sarnia's.

Re: Ontario Siren Hunt

Awesome! I'll have to see about getting out to Brigden one of these days and getting a recording. I'm also planning on recording one of the Suncor 1003 sirens tomorrow.

Re: What do sirens in your area warn of?

They also warn of potential tornadoes and severe weather. A Federal Signal Modulator 3012 and one of ...

Re: Ontario Siren Hunt

I live in Sarnia, and have been around town many times as well as the surrounding communities. Sarnia is known for the Thunderbolt 1003s over in the Suncor plant as well as its extensive network of ATI HPSS-32s. I've found a few more sirens around the area, which I want to note. Sarnia - Federal Sig...
