With clouds looming, I wasn't sure if Sandy Springs would test today, but thankfully they did. This is one of the two setups that the city has at their parks, which consist of a 2001-130 and a DSA-4 both on the same pole. Typically, these sirens are tested in 3 minutes of wail/attack on the first Wednesday, but today with the clouds it was a shorter alert test. While the 2001 sounded fine, the DSA ended up having some bad batteries and sounded pretty rough. That being said, it was pretty cool seeing two sirens tested at the same time on the same pole. I hope to record the other setup like this soon, and hopefully I can see this siren in fully functioning order sometime. This is located at Ridgeview Park in Sandy Springs, GA.
