Re: Grifco - Australian Siren Company (Company Information Post)

Guys, I added photo links under each siren model heading, taken straight from their old site. I would have to say that the other Grifco sirens stopped being produced before they had a site, so we don’t know much about them.

Also, just another thing, I found a few more of them today, so the last model I need to find is the 663, all the rest have been mapped at least once.

I just realized there is a 663 in Long Island.

Would you mind attaching a link or photo? I find that hard to believe. If it really is there, I live fairly close to Long Island and could probably check it out.

unlikely that its a 663, probably some sort of Darley model 2 since they look similar.

They mounted it upside-down and put an intake cone on it. Before you say this is a model 2, it is not. the chopper sticks out from the assembly and the motor cover is different.

You posted that in the mystery sirens thread a while ago. I thought this was already determined to be something else.

I looked at it some more and this just isn't a model 2. The chopper/stator assembly just doesn't look like that of a Model 2. This has to be a Grifco.

So there are NO other possible sirens this thing is.

Not that I know of. Isn't a Weltex despite kinda looking like one.
