Its definitely not concrete. I saw it close it enough to see it was shiny so it metal, its just a unique shape. I will have to take a close up shot to show what im talking about.

FACT: MTEMC uses steel poles like these for new line construction as well. Steel poles make for some CLEAN installs for sirens and antennas, lights at sports fields, etc.
Still close enough to a Fed Sig 550AT to drive out on test day: First Friday in May - 7PM!

I passed this siren this afternoon. The horn is still pointing the same direction as in these pictures.

Brentwood did its usual 1st Saturday test yesterday; I heard one of them winding down.

This siren may not be connected to power yet. Brentwood's other sirens all have a power line coming into the steel pole; this one doesn't have such.

I recorded this siren on Saturday and it went off twice. The unfortunate part is I had to record it on my phone because my apartment was robbed on last Wednesday and away went my camera and laptop. As soon as I can I will get this video posted.

I'm going to assume it as the fire chief told me they all are tested on battery power only. I got the first round on video and thought it was done and as I am pulling out of the parking lot it goes off again...not sure why it did that.

It's probably connected to power from an underground connection, like the new 2001-SRNB is beside Pinnacle Bank.

It does sound good! Heard another 1 or 2 in the background as well.

I didn't know that this one and Pinnacle Bank siren might have underground power connections.

This is a good location for a siren. It will provide coverage in area between the Moore's Lane/Westgate Commons and Holly Tree Gap sirens.

To my knowledge most if not all the sirens in the Brentwood/Franklin system are connected to underground power connections.
