fake siren test video

Looks like that guy who sent the in the fake videos to the siren archive awhile back maybe at it again http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPFEQK5Wz78. The siren is obviously a recording, more specifcally the 500T recording found on the sound&video section of this site http://www.airraidsirens.com/mp3/federal500at.mp3, You can clearly hear the little blips as the mic cuts in and out plus he says "the window is open" when it's clearly not (pause it at 0:29, you'll see a closed window). If by chance this was made by someone here (I know no one would be that dishonest here), please stick to making videos of real siren tests. A very lame thing for whoever shot the video to do.

Didn't sound fake to me. Didn't hear any "blips", as far as what you describe. What I heard was something possibly hitting up against the camcorder. But nothing in that video made me think it was being faked. Now, are we talking Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and if so, do they have 2T22's or 500AT's? Or was it Edmonton, Washington?

I also know of somebody who is dishonest here but it has nothing to do with that video.

Wow, you all crack me up! The video IS FAKE. Download the Dundee, MI 500AT recording and play it along with this. Then be bold enough to say that it's real.

Hmm, why bother? What's the point of faking a 500T, let alone any siren? It's nicer an attempt, but I'm not phased either way.

It's not going to be like: OMGZ!! LEIK YA REC'D A SOYREN!!!!11111 w00t!

I mean really, is our interest really that much of a deal these days? Not that I'm complaining! The more (legit) recordings, the better!

I have noticed on his Tornadic Supercell video, there are no sirens sounding!

Edmonton still has cold war sirens out, CMS, 2T22s, Tbolts and STH-10s. I wouldn't doubt the legitimacy of this video just because the siren sounds like other recordings. Most cities out that way still have tornado sirens from Manitoba to Alberta.

Hello everyone:

This is my first post here, and I would like to say hello to all you fellow siren enthusiasts.

Ironically, this video is a fake! I recorded that Federal 500AT, which is located in back of the Dundee Twp. Fire Dept, here in Michigan. Trust me, that siren is not in Edmonton. Moreover, I know my own siren recordings when I hear them.
