Another siren in the collection

I got a few things monday when I went to WSS wiith Siren1000T1
AR timer (can never have enough of those)
Yellow case Siratrol radio
SCH controller
2 Whelen mechnical siren controllers. (I did not type that wrong, they do exsist)
and a Thunderbolt head Series B
This one may be the harper woods one. But I cannot be 100% on it.

The city should have a record of the sirens from when they purchased them from FS, right? They could have purged any records they had of them, but it's worth a try. That would be really neat if you did score that siren. I have your YouTube video of it saved.

I took some more photo's of the thunderbolt today.
I really do think this is the salter park t-bolt.
too many in the same spot rust marks to be just a coincidence

Definitely the same siren.
Am I seeing the pic correctly? Is the insulation completely gone from the wires going up from the collector rings to the chopper motor? Wonder if it was burned off. Hope not..... :shock:

I think that is just the hemp type rope they used to hold the wires against the chopper tube. My 1003 had similar rope holding the wires going up to the solenoids.

Yes, it's the twine type string that has broke. the chopper wires are in excellent condition.

Sorry to go off topic, but I talked to "cheetawolf" on YouTube, He confirmed that this is Salter Park's old Thunderbolt.
