The city of Tullahoma has 7 Whelen Vortex sirens however, I am trying to expand the siren system to include 1 WPS 2905 in downtown, an additonal Vortex in annexed area, and a Omni alert in an annexed developing neighborhood. The town of McMinnville (the next county) north of Tullahoma/Coffee County has 4 2001 SRNB sirens and 2 Modulators at the city parks.

Sirens in your area

Wed Feb 14, 2007 3:16 am

Since my last post on this thread, Williamson County, TN has added its own system. This is separate from the Franklin and Brentwood City systems.

The 19 sirens in this system are all Modulators. Except for the town of Fairview in extreme W part of county, I've checked out the others. There are a couple of 3 cell Modulators; also a couple of 2 cell ones. However, most of the ones I've seen are only a single cell. Although some of the single cell ones are located in parks, many of them are located at schools, etc. in more sparsely populated parts of the county.

Sedgwick County, KS has 134 sirens, the majority of them being Thunderbolts, and most of them are located in Wichita. Here's what I know of:
Wichita: Exact numbers unknown, but there are Thunderbolts and 2001s scattered all over the place.
Park City: (3)2T22, (2)2001
Kechi: 2001 (used to be a 2T22)
Valley Center: (7)Thunderbolt, 2001, Whelen 4008
Andale: (2)2T22, Model 2 (shut down for over 20 years; I may be able to take it down someday)
Colwich: Model 5, 2001, 2T22 (all located about 100' of each other; their system is overkill!)
Mount Hope: 2001, Model 5 (located at water tower and used as a noon siren)
Bentley: 2T22, Whelen 4004
Maize: (2)2001, Thunderbolt
Haysville: 2001

Outside Sedgwick County:
Newton: (number unknown)Whelen 2808, maybe one Allertor (but I don't think it's in service)
Burrton: EOWS 816, Model 5
Wellington: Whelen 2804, number unknown
Sedgwick: 2001
Halstead: 2001 (they need more sirens)
Ich spreche nicht Deutsch...doh!

Here in peru, is a model 3. In morrisonville a STH-10, and in katieville another (newer looking) STH-10.
Pyramid head walks into a bar... there are no survivors.
