It is falling apart, but it still sounds one blast for every fire call.

So funny, Holler.
Thanks for the laugh.
Daniel's siren looks like it was made that way. Nothing has yet drooped, but it does look depressing.
Looks like they should have mounted it better.
Too bad I'm not there to give it TLC.

Holler, that was classic lol-that siren actually has a very eerie look to it. It's got that perfect tornado siren / town siren look to it. Could have been a good bit of alcohol involved in the making. "Yall watch'is, check'is sh*t out, heh heh heh". (Translation-southern terminoligy for "Yall watch this, check this sh*t out") haha HAD to throw it out there. My favorite sirens are the home made models like this, with unknown siren guts but a really unique looking horn assembly or shroud. I've got a pic I'm trying to upload from my phone of what I think is a possible Carters look alike. It's bigger than a darley dual head siren, but almost looks like a Sterling M with the ends cut off. It's too big to be a darley of any kind. It looks somewhat like a Giant or a Little Giant, but with no horns. You can clealy see the rotor and stators as if it was a Grifco. Getting off topic though, sorry.

Please don't apologize.
Migrating off topic makes things all the more interesting.
Would love to see your pictures.
