Sound range at 70 DB: 9000 feet
Total circular coverage: 9.0 square miles
What's aven more amazing is the fact that the new T135-DC has a slightly better range at only half the motor power! I also noticed it saying the siren can be ordered with a "valve" to do a fire signal. Have any fitted with those been found in the wild?
A valve? Does it do pulse? I remember a video of a P-15 that looked like it had a damper in the cone.
Are you talking about this video? http://youtu.be/_Kqp53S6kuA

Yes, that's it! I wonder what it was. I guess we'll never know, because it got replaced awhile back.

Just reading the specs WHOA the range of the P-50 is almost as large as the radius of the T-135.

The new T-135 or the p-50/old T-135?

That's what would be assumed. The new T-135 directly replaced the old one. But if you're talking about the T-135 AC, it's the exact same siren as the P-50. The T-135 DC is the new one.

It's actually around 132dB @ 100 ft.
