I think that the siren in the video is speaker-based. What an awesome-sounding siren the siren in that video is!

They are Hormann ECN sirens. Very popular in that part of the world, as well as in the Middle East.

For a Hormann ECN siren, those tonal ratios sound weird.

I believe I read in a thread here that all of Europe uses 430 Hz as the standard warning siren frequency. Do I remember that right?

I could hear three sirens, and the higher pitched of them sounded electronic. The European system has always been smaller sirens in more places, so you always hear several. This way, if you lose one, you still have coverage. The E-57 style siren is about the same size as a Model 5. The American system is becoming one of gigantic sirens placed far from each other, so you usually only hear the one closest to you. If one fails, a large area is uncovered.

Most European sirens (except in the UK and Ireland) have nine ports and sound around 430-440 Hz. There are exceptions, such as 10 and 11 port sirens made in Italy and Spain, as well as some two-tone sirens formerly made by Elektro-Knadiger, which I believe was in the Czech Republic. Many of these were sent to China and looked like a gigantic Carters.
