Looks more like a horizontal siren to me, if a siren at all.

Can anyone identify this siren in Shelbyville, TN? It looks kinda like a Sterling or something similar from looking at it through the cage, but I can't quite make it out.

As you said, it's kind of hard to tell for sure through the screening but it appears to be either an old Federal Type B or one of those double 8-port Darley Champion sirens judging by those flared intakes on the stators. I guess the best way to tell for sure is to actually hear it run, though even then it could be difficult because I believe the Federals were also available in a double-8 configuration.

The whole roof contraption reminds me of a Denver siren setup, but yeah the flared horns say Type B.

I am fairly certain the siren in the pics above is an 8-port model B. You can see a large, single port in one of the pics, and no other siren i know of has flared stators that look quite like that.

Now for my contribution. Miami, TX. I never could figure it out, but it sure looks like a Carter/Secomak style siren from the side.

Down to a Thunderbolt chopper, still a few goofy flashlight-siren combos, and a Model L.

Sterling Little Giant? It's the only 'small' siren I could think of that has a design similar to a Carter.

What siren is this? In downtown Crawford, GA. The name seems to slip my mind
