Here are two pictures of the new 508 siren. the plan was to install it tomorrow but due to the probability of the rain tomorrow it was done today. Pictures are a little dim as I did not get out there until the end of the day.

Oh now that's awesome!! Yellow looks fantastic on a 508. They should come standard in this color. Just imagine a giant Civil Defense sticker slapped on the back

The old PN-20 siren has been taken by Braniff. It is up to them as to it's disposition. It will most likely be scrapped. When taking it down squirrels ran out of it.

Oh nuts...I would've loved to witness the install; maybe even shoot a video. Looks amazing, nonetheless!

From what I remember, Braniff will scrap any old sirens they take down to prevent them from being refurbished and sold elsewhere, as that will prevent the sales of new sirens. If anyone tries to get it, it will be very hard. Not sure if it's true or not, but that's what I heard a while back.

Guys take a look at my recent post I put up. It's more close up siren test video of the Civl Defense Yellow color 508 siren.
