Went out today and recorded another siren test. Was planning on recording a different siren, likely one of the many Model 2s around the county, but got going a bit too late so I hurried on over to this one as it was nearby, and I had been wanting to get a better video of it for some time. The shot it rather backlit as I set-up on the north-side of the siren, as the only spots to record from are on the north side of it. The two new Sentries (a 14v and a 40v1t) most likely wouldn't have working radios installed on them by the time of this test, so I didn't plan to go to them. However, with the new Sentries that were put up, I believe Madison County now has the widest variety of sirens on one system in the state of Alabama.
Madison County, AL tests on the 1st Wednesday of every month at noon, weather permitting. If the test isn't able to be conducted on the 1st Wednesday, it's then delayed to the 2nd Wednesday of the month at noon, weather permitting.
