Virginia - North Carolina Siren Map by RootySirex and Crazyblocks Sirens and Elevators

Sun Oct 13, 2019 4:01 pm

Me and Crazyblocks Sirens and Elevators have been working together to make this public siren map of the state of Virginia and North Carolina. We have done searching for these sirens ourselves, and a few other resources to find these sirens, Google Street View, and other siren maps.

As citizens of Virginia, we are familiar with the location of these sirens, and would like to share it with ARS. Check out our siren map today!

Very nice. I have some far-northern Virginia locations on my West Virginia siren map, feel free to copy from it.

In Mt. Jackson, the pole-mounted Sterling is an M-10 and the one on the building is a Little Giant. The Sterling in Edinburg appears to be a K-5.

Some others I know about but don't have on my map:
- Mystery siren on Greenwood Fire in Winchester
- STH-10 on Woodstock Fire
- Sterling(?) at Toms Brook Fire
- 10V on Strasburg Fire
- STH-10 on Front Royal Fire
- Fedelcode Model 5 on Middletown Fire
- Darley on Stephens City Fire
- Model 2 at Shenandoah Farms Fire
- Darley on Boyce Fire
- ACA Allertor at Philomont Fire
Architecture preservationist. I enjoy obscure history and mapping things, and grew up around sirens. Not planning to own one.
