if you have a 3d printer, or a machinist, the possibilities are endless! if you arent/ dont have one, i would get a plastic tube that fit snuggly over the housing, than cut the ports out, and grease it (bushing!) than i would find a thin steel tube, cut the ports out, and come up with a way of moving it. you could cut your outer shroud, and have a solenoid stick out( bad) , or make a gear system, like in the pictuer, with 3d printed gears , but instead of having that odd half gear on the bottom, you could use a solenoid to pull on the shaft, instead of a rotary actuator. (for the gears, if you send me a drawing( if youre good with cad) or you send me some dimensions, i will put like 5 of em up on ebay, and start em at $1 no reserve, you pay shipping tho.)
