I was up in Atlanta on Wednesday and decided to record these two sirens with my mom while I was up there visiting family. They are both located in the same park about a half mile away from each other. I parked the truck at the Modulator and had my mom record it while I walked over to the 2001. She was set up about 450-ish feet away from the Mod while I was about 800 or so feet away from the 2001. I typically like to set up at least 600 feet away from sirens to catch more of the reverb from the environment and some of the ambiance. This worked out well since the Mod was very audible in the background from where I was and the 2001 along with the other surrounding sirens from my mom's perspective. It was technically a SWA day with a drill that was supposed to take place at 9 that morning. I had no idea about it, but luckily the city still tested at noon. It's been a while since I heard a 2001 in attack in person.
