Re: 2023 Fantasy Siren Map Challenge

I have finished mine. I put lightning sirens all around the parks, schools, and stadiums rather than just the schools. If I do get an award, just pass it to the person in the place below me. Just try to notify me of my place if I do somehow get into the top three.

It's been a while since I've been on here but I've been sick for the past few days so I came back and saw this. Anyways here's my submission (LMK if the link doesn't work):

https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid= ... sp=sharing

Story:

In 2017, the city of Conway put out a bid for a siren system. The city, wanting voice capabilities at the colleges and areas with high levels of tourism, went with Whelen, noting their long-standing experience with voice-capable sirens and noticing their many signal options. 23 sirens went up later that year.

That same year, the school board voted to install lightning detection systems at all of the schools after a student was left paralyzed from a lightning strike at the high school. They bought 16 Thor Guard systems to cover all of the public schools in the city.

The city tests the siren system on the first day of each month at noon, weather permitting (if the weather is bad the test is postponed to the next day). Silent tests occur every day at noon.

Signals:

Severe thunderstorms - 3 minute Airhorn
Tornado warnings - 3 minute Wail (Attack if PDS)
Civil defense emergencies - 3 minute Attack
Evacuations - 3 minute Alert
Chemical emergencies - 3 minute Whoop
Other emergencies - 3 minute Hi-Lo (used for campus emergencies as well)
Tests - 30 seconds of each signal
Sentry rules, ATI's are for fools.

Living in Central Ohio, the Whelen capital of the country.
