I'd like to say that 2903 in Swindon is actually a 2905, it shows 5 cells on StreetView.

Another post, but some updates on locations. Many sirens in Northern Ireland appear to have been removed.

---[NORTHERN IRELAND]---

The Carters at Newtownhamilton and Dungiven seems to no longer be there. This can conclude there are no more Carters installed anymore within the whole of Northern Ireland.

The Castle Castings at Portstewart is no longer there., taken down sometime between 2017 and 2022.

I can't find the Klaxon GP12 installed in Portadown either, so I am assuming that has also been removed. Hasn't been there since 2012 streetview.

---[IRELAND]---

Muine Beach has what seems to be an air raid siren in the tower. I'm unsure of what it is, guessing it's a Carter. (https://www.google.com/maps/@52.7015859 ... ?entry=ttu)

Seems there's a lot more sirens in Ireland than thought...
https://www.google.com/maps/@52.8039503 ... ?entry=ttu (Carter)
https://www.google.com/maps/@51.952319, ... ?entry=ttu (Gent)

---[ENGLAND]---

The system of ECN3000s in Grimsby have now been removed - None remain.

The WPS-2X09 at Padworth seems to be a 2909, given by its installation between 2010 and 2014.

Broadmoor Siren G has also been removed now, unless I am completely blind and it is still there somehow, but I cannot find it anywhere.

It was still there when I drove down and checked for myself in mid-September. Main control boxes gone, but siren (and one of the boxes) remains. I am fairly confident it won't have disappeared since, but obviously I cannot guarantee that is the case!

I do also seem to recall it was just about visible from street view in May, if you looked from the right angle, but that street view has since been superseded.

The rectangular shape on the lowest tier of the large tower in the above screenshot, which I took at the time, is the siren. It is less visible from the most recent street view on Cricket Field Grove, but is there:

That's awesome! It's cool to see that one of the Broadmoor Klaxon CS8 sirens are still around, even though the controls are gone. I hope someone can get this siren and keep it, if they can get it down. Also, isn't this the only one left in existence?

It's the only Broadmoor one left. There other CS8s around (Devonport/Carstairs etc), but none of those left do hi-lo like the Broadmoor ones did.

Perhaps best to leave it up there; it's not doing anyone any harm there, and it would likely be scrapped if it was removed. That is what fate befell the other twelve.

Ah my mistake, must've not been at the right angle. I was on the closest road I could access via StreetView. Atleast it's still there though.

It is notoriously hard to see on street view, especially from Chaplains Hill. However, rest assured it is probably still there, and likely will be until the tower itself has to come down :)

I would quickly like to bring to attention that there may be/have been a siren situated in Longtown, Carlisle. I have heard reports from some of my family members that they remember hearing one sounding when they were in the town, and from what I gather, this was relatively recently (within the last 30 years or so). I am not personally going to be devoting hours of time looking for this siren, but I wanted to bring it to attention for anyone who is more willing to find it.

Here is the town's location:
55.00995032642556, -2.966685277127862
https://www.google.com/maps/place/Longt ... ?entry=ttu

UPDATE:

Ok, so I did end up doing a little bit of searching. It turns out that MOD Longtown does have some emergency sirens, and there certainly are some siren-like shapes on-site. I will try and gather more information on the site's siren(s?). However, I do think that there may be some other warning sirens off-site, but I am unsure.

Helpful booklet mentioning the siren:
https://cumbria.gov.uk/elibrary/Content ... 581193.PDF

As of now, all I know is that there is at least 1 siren (referred to as the 'Site Emergency Siren' in the booklet) on-site, and that it is tested every Wednesday at 9:30 AM.

This might be something:

I have found this aswell, I wonder where that GP10 is located though. There is one near me aswell but its tested randomly and my friend hears it from to time

Whereabouts are you located? Someone may be able to find it in your area.
