Yeah they are, thanks to specially designed speakers and digital acoustic optimization.

I think that the large set of Hormann speakers can put out (126) decibels at a hundred feet away.

What I like about Hormann's speaker-based sirens is that they can be adjusted in terms of both direction and quantity easier than current American speaker-based sirens.
