Siren test in Florida

Sat Dec 08, 2007 3:50 am

OK guys, I found a siren test in Florida on Youtube. And, I swear to you all, it sounds like a T-135 or another one of those funky dual tones in the front. You can clearly hear a high pitched siren but I also hear a siren thats exactly one musical octave lower. Any ideas?

Whelen 3016 and most likely an older Whelen 4004. This system may be the one that had some leftover ACA Screamers which could be the lower toned siren heard, but I'm not sure. I know there's a system for a nuclear power plant in Florida that uses Whelens and a few older ACA Screamers.
