I have no idea, but sometimes Jonesboro, AR would be a little slow on activating the sirens as well. So being five to ten minutes late from when the warning was issued is standard, I guess.2t22boy wrote:I wonder why they took so long to activate the sirens. Nice videos tho...makes me want spring to come even sooner...i miss being outside during a tornado watch and the sirens go off...the hair on the back of my neck will stand up.
To be fair, the Siloam Springs police force were driving around as spotters prior to the warning. One parked down the block from my residence before switching on his lights and beginning patrol through various streets during the tornado warning.
