Muncie Siren Test, 02-01-2008

Sun Feb 03, 2008 12:00 am

Well here is the siren test from my backyard on this past Friday. I was really suprised to here the 1000T so clearly. It is over a mile and a half from my house. There are two 2001's just over a mile away and I did not here them at all. Other than that I'll let listen to it, sirens start about 16 seconds into it.

Also there are actually two siren tests being conducted,

Wow, that was a very short test. I bet it sounds awesome with the Countys sirens and the Whelens going off together.
Awesome video!

I could hear the 2001's, a TBolt 1000, a TBolt 1000T, and another dual tone siren. It's cool how the Whelens started up while the other sirens were winding down. It's a shame that the first test wasn't longer.

Nice recording as usual. Hopefully I won't have a mishap next month like what happened yesterday.
