FIAMM MC/2 or Stebel PRMV2

Tue Feb 05, 2008 10:29 pm

Hi Again,

Thanks for all you help on my earlier question. I am looking at purchasing a new siren to emulate an old British Siren from the 60's . I have found the FIAMM MC2 and the Stebel PRMV2 as well as the WOLO Euro Siren.
Which of these would be the closest match?

Thanks Again

The Wolo Euro siren is made in Italy by Fiamm, I believe, but sounds a major third interval which I have heard on a few Irish Garda motorcycles, but not in the UK. Although it has a steady horn option, the Wolo model really is not all that different from official versions, except that the major third (Bb/D) is not as common in Europe.
