Livingston County, MI tornado warning (June 2008)

Mon Sep 15, 2008 7:38 pm

This video was filmed back in June 2008. I'm reuploading it because I edited out most of the talking that was in it before. This video does not do justice to how dark the clouds were. I've bought a new video camera, but there hasn't been a tornado warning since.

Part 2

In this video a Federal Signal 2001-SRNB can be heard in alert, but I'm not sure what the other siren is. It does sound like a 2001, but it was not rotating and it was loud from where I was standing and I can't find another siren closer to me besides the 2001-SRNB I can hear.

Shawnee County had 3 (a 4th unofficial) Tornado Warnings and 8 Tornado Watches, about normal.

Cool video, I love how the sirens wind back up! I was out of town when a Tornado was reported just South of Topeka over the summer, and according to everyone in town the sirens went off about 4-5 times! As that same storm was moving into Jeff. Co I was in Perry waiting for the Banshee to go off, but the storm weakened:( I did get some awesome video of a wall cloud.
