Great pictures, some really nice shots of the P-50's.

When I recorded the Greenfield Park P-50 in May,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4aJLxkeYYs
there were several small pieces of fiberglass that flew out of the projector when it fired up, and a small hole could be seen. Unfortunately my crappy video doesn't show any of that. (I have a high-quality video where you can see it, but it's currently trapped in a friend's Digital8 camera and can't be uploaded) That hole has definitely grown since I last saw the siren. I'd call and inform the city of West Allis, but I don't want to see an otherwise perfectly operational siren replaced because of a chunk missing from the fiberglass.

I think a Blues Brothers fan definitely made that for fun for his/her vehicle. The were definitely going in the right direction with it though.

The Whelen is a 4000, the piece sticking out of the rotator is round, and there are 2 boxes on the pole.
Resident of a county with big a mixture of sirens, but in the process of being replaced. :(
