Chrysler siren locations

Sadly I have 2 chrylser siren locations to remove from the list: The siren atop the Talcott Building in Rockford,IL and the siren atop the Kansas City city hall is gone. There is some good news to this topic though! The Chrysler atop the US Army Records center is still in place.

Just recently? If I knew there was a Chrysler in Rockford I would've made a pilgrimage.

The siren in rockford was taken down somtime in the 60's when the building added a 13th floor. They gave me the dealerships email who took it down, but the dealership who took it down said they did service on it but they never recived it.

I've taken a couple pics of the one on top of the records bldg in KC. They are on my photobucket. Don't have the link to paste as I'm on my blackberry now but the photobucket page I set up is johnnyspowspage. Search that and you'll find it. Have spoke to the bldg owners rep hoping to see it close up but no luck...yet

He is busy with flu pandemic preparedness situation as soon as things calm down he will go over to the building and snap some pictures. And the party boat siren is the oakland victory siren that was used on the white holly boat.

The party boat siren came from the Woodminster Theatre. The school siren in Oakland mysteriously dissappeared a week before I was to remove it for restoration.
