The second siren looks like a ten-port, one-phase type. The first siren, also, looks like a one-phase type, but its amount of ports looks indistinguishable, though it looks as if it is twelve or even thirteen.

Nice job, Robert. I'm very pleased. Thanks to Soundoff too.

Great editing, Sound.
Thank you.

The pagoda-like tower reportedly once housed a horizontal two-toned(I'm guessing) siren on that pedestal.
(I did not hear any other two-toned sirens of the four I think we detected
during the test. Maybe they don't use two-toned sirens.)

Does anyone make a single tone dual horizontal siren?
A drawing indicated it had stator at BOTH ends. []=[]

Sorry I did not count the ports in the second siren.

Also could not get closenough to counthe ports on the bunker siren.

I like the way a magnet apparently draws the rotor into position which closes the ports.

Bottom photo is looking through a stator port into the rotor.

Great photos, Robert. Good thing it didn't go off with your finger in there!
Regarding your question about horizontal single-tone sirens, these are made by Klaxon, Kheraj, Sirenco, and a few other companies. The first siren looks a lot like the Russian one I posted earlier.

This was two days after their 15 August ANNUAL test.

Thanks. I now remember that lksos.com also advertises horizontal singletoned sirens.

Seems as though the vertical siren is a better design both in soundispersion and protection from elements.

Love Lion King's bicycle-powered siren.

There are more of those sirens out there than I thought.

Also a company called Mechtric.

The Lion King company claims to sell their sirens anywhere in the world.
But an inquiry, both in English and Chinese, seeking prices to purchase a siren, remains unanswered.
