Unknown Siren

Mon Jan 18, 2010 1:58 am

I am not too keen on electric sirens. I would like to know what this unit is and what a fair price would be for it. Many years ago the Port of Oakland took this to a shop to have the motor rebuilt. After it was done they never picked it up as they had decided to replace it with a new unit. Any answers would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jack

Looks just like this siren, which has been discussed before. Nice find! http://www.ci.larkspur.ca.us/FireHornSl ... show10.jpg

I remember reading somewhere, years ago, that GE made that siren.

I didn't know that there were HLS sirens in Finland.
