Well it's 15 hours till the EMA staff meeting. I guess we will find out then.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make the meeting now. My dad will have one car and the other one has a small transmission fluid leak someplace so it's sitting at Cincinnati Transmission up in Sharonville right now.

This may sum things up. It appears that they are going to announce the recommendation at the meeting tonight. It says right there in the article that American Signal came in the lowest what more do you need.

I don't like the sound of this. Is the public allowed to consult on this? I'd see if you can get an acoustical engineer to weigh in it.

What's so ominous? They have a date and time set for announcing their decision. That's much more usual than no date and time. The bids I'm familiar with say something like "bids will be opened and read aloud at 11:00 am on May 4, 2010,...'

Bids are supposed to be

Responsive Whatever specs there are, the proposal responds to them, and

Responsible The bidder is financially and technically able to do the work.

Those things shouldn't be an issue. OTOH, this bid will probably end up in court.
