Most likely an Allertor since it doesn't peak at the same pitch as an SD-10.

It doesn't sound like it's rotating, though... But I can tell it is an ACA siren because of the higher tone from the 12 side being dominant. It could be underpowered as well.

If you look in this person's YouTube profile, he says he's from Rolla, Missouri, and I searched on this site for sirens in Rolla, and all I found was this topic that discussed a Thunderbolt in Rolla. Does anybody know if Rolla has anything that would be a 9/12 port siren?

Topic with Thunderbolt: http://www.airraidsirens.com/forums/vie ... ight=rolla
Resident of a county with big a mixture of sirens, but in the process of being replaced. :(

it could also be an allertor with a broken rotator or a dual tone screamer being run on a lower voltage.

Listen closely and you can faintly hear a 2001 in there.

There's that Thunderbolt (mentioned above) in Rolla one can see from I-44 across from the Missouri Science and Technology residence halls, but that's all I know of their siren system. Rolla's a dirty, cluttered town and I don't much like stopping there if I can avoid it.

Whatever that siren is (and it sounds VERY much like an Allertor), it sounds like it is on its last legs.

EDIT: I've got myself on the prowl for this mystery siren because now I'm curious, seeing that I have to go past Rolla whenever I drive to St. Louis. They hide their sirens well; I found an article saying they have 21 sirens (!). I've managed to find a 2001 so far.

Are you talking about the T-Bolt on Bishop Ave? Because There is also another T-Bolt I've spotted in a park in Rolla.

YouTube user "KeoghJacob" has a video of the T-Bolt on Bishop Ave.

That solves it. It sounded pretty low pitched.

Where is it located? If you know the location, I can go and take some pictures of it.
