Actually, for a fact, there is an Owasso, Michigan.
also, Owasso never had to use sirens for two years until that storm.

Certainly doesn't sound like the ones in Nashville!

I usually don't even hear the one in my neighborhood during 1st Saturday test.

When I do, there's never a windup. Just a high pitched electronic squeal which is heard only if atmospheric conditions are right or a good wind is blowing towards the house.
