When the Reds hit a home-run you can hear a recording that sounds like an SD-10 going in a short alert signal when listing to the game on the radio. I have never heard it on TV.

I've heard the siren at Reds games and on the radio.

I remember going to a Reds game last year and hearing a siren when homeruns are hit. I sort of remember it being a 10/12 port siren, 9/12 if not that.

This is a wild guess, but could it be a signal to passing boats or barges that fireworks are about to be set off? I have never heard a siren at GABP.

The new siren at 3360 W Galbraith was tested this morning.

No. As we have well-established, it's a sound clip that plays whenever a home run is hit. I have heard it numerous times during Brewers-Reds games in Cincy.

So as luck would have it I'm going to be in Cincy tomorrow during the monthly test. Any idea's or suggestions on what I should possibly record?

Hardly any older sirens left in service, you may get best luck on a T-128 or 2001.

I saw a new T-128 today at the corner of Linn St and Central Pkwy north of downtown. This one was either supposed to go on W Liberty St fire station or park on W McMicken Ave.

There is a T-128 right next to my hotel, i didn't see it when I got here last night. There is an STH-10 right next to it that looks like the power has already been cut.

Then you must be staying at the LaQuinta in Sharonville. Is the power to the 128 on?
