You can mount it on the bed of the truck, though I don't know about the generator requirements. I think that a small generator is enough. We've had a small generator power a small cement-mixer.

i hate the horn in my truck, it sounds a bit stupid. so i was thinking of maybe a meatwagon or a police siren, they are too hard for me to find.~i know there are some on ebay but they are rather high bidding- and i want something that will get an idiot an idea of how crappy there driving is lol.

It's a Carter model. It has a nice port-ratio, the one of a 2T22 or 3T22. It has a lower tone, though, as it runs on fifty hertz.

BTW, so you're planning on installing the M so that you can blast it while driving?

Uh, you'll do it once, anyway, after which your truck will be impounded along with yourself. But it won't be anything drastic. Worst case it's a fine and a couple of weekends picking up highway litter.

Google Convert says that a horsepower is about 746 watts.

He could put dampers, which will allow him to do a very quiet growl without him confronting any legal issues. However, if you want to be completely safe, don't do it.

I'm pretty sure sirens on a vehicle that isn't public safety of some kind is a no-no, but by all means ask.
