McKinney TX Whelen 2910?

Wed May 11, 2011 1:27 pm

I'm thinking it's a 2910. Might not be.

Here is a Whelen 2X10 in McKinney TX. I know the signal, and I have heard the name so many times, but it's just not coming to me. It's at the tip of ym tongue, but won't come out.

Edit: I'm thinking it's called the "Best Possible Protection" signal.

It looks like a 2910, the screen is pretty far in.

The difference is told by how much the screen covers.

Here is a 2810, where the screen isn't far in.

Here is a 2910, where the screen is pretty far in, or this might not actually have a screen. It's a little bit hard to tell.

Yikes--look at the dinky pole that thing is on. Seeing it sway in a gentle breeze makes me wonder how well it would hold up in a bad storm...
