Siren Video Question

Tue Dec 19, 2006 4:24 am

I know the title says air raid siren control, but judging by the way it was filmed, it looks like the camcorder is sitting in front of a blaring Whelen Vortex or 4004 siren. Can anyone tell me what we are seeing?

There is no chance in hell that is a Vortex or 4004.

Most likely it is a large stereo speaker or amplifier.

Looks like someone is having fun with Eric Green's ACA Hurricane recording, although a much shorter duration.

It originally struck me as a XT22, but now I think of it; It's a Hurricane.

I have fun doing that, too, only I don't make videos of such endeavors.

That's not only stupid, it's taking someone else's credit.
