Just a question here: where do the sirens get their electricity from, if they do? :?:

I can't wait to see the Model 2 with its sibblings!

Stuff that thing with combat webbing before you record it...it'll blast the whole neighborhood.

Neither of them are ever "ready to go" incase of an emergency. Their power come from an outlet on the patio of the house near the traffic light collection. I wind an extension cord out there to test them.

STH 10 Restoration

Tue Jan 09, 2007 5:08 am

Nice pictures!

I've mentioned that the STH-10 is my 2nd favorite siren after the Thunderbolt.

One ? for you. In the picture of motor, I could read some of the numbers.
However, couldn't make out the RPM. Does it state on the plate what the RPM is?

Any of the numbers that can't be made out in the picture, can't really be made out in person. Some of the stuff has been ereased after years of weathering.

You won't see them until summer. They start out as Model A's, then grow into Model 1's, and if you splice them right, you might get 2T's, but if you don't use insecticide, the place will be full of Whelens.
