The year was 198- er, 2004... and I was a wee young laddie wishing Federal Signal would get off their crusty asses and make something new and revolutionary (i.e. something old and outdated). I sent in 5 emails pleading them to bring back the Thunderbolt, then decided them taking legal action, as stated in the final email, wouldn't be so fun. So them remaking the Thunderbolt, XT22, STH10, SD10, 500AT, whatever, wouldn't be likely. If you want them to remake a siren, take it up in your own time. I'm not going to add those comments to the list.

Email not sent yet!
Not much point in this topic then is there? :)

Tell them to lower the tone of the 2001, it is getting annoyingly high pitched.

Alright, bring back the Model 7 and instead of a cast iron rotor, bring in an aluminum rotor of the same size and specs as the old Model 5/7 rotor. The reason I say Model 7 and not 5 or 3 is due to the fact that a Model 7 has the same horsepower rating as an Eclispe or 2001 siren. So if they could bring back the Model 7 with a less heavy rotor and replace the old motor with a new DC motor, then they can reduce the power demand greatly. And they will probably get quite a few sales.

As I said before...
I am NOT going to add "bring back the ***" comments!
Take this up on your own time. If you want to modify a CURRENT siren model, that is OK... so something like modifying the Model 2 to make it like a Model 7 will be added, but not just bringing back the Model 7 with no reference to the Model 2.
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence indicating that you tried.

But the Model 2 doesn't need to be modified.

It was an example...

I would love to see a dual tone 2001, with a 7/12 port ratio
Federal Signal Thunderbolt Series, still the King of Air Raid Sirens!

OK, I'll send the email tomorrow (the 14th in the US).
